Matilda

We can't resist Matilda and recommending its author to children who don't know him yet. Matilda must bring order to an unwelcoming school because its teachers are not up to the task. But humor, irony, and tenderness will make the school a kinder place where children are helped to grow and read. Roald Dahl said that all children have an ember inside them, and someone must light the fire and keep it burning. The school has this role to fulfill, because the light of the world depends on it.
